How to convert hourly pay to salary
Multiply your hourly rate by hours per week, then by 52 weeks. A full-time 40-hour week is 2080 hours a year, so $25 an hour × 2080 = $52,000.
Quick rule: double your hourly rate and add three zeros. $25 an hour ≈ $50,000 a year. It slightly underestimates because it assumes 2,000 hours (50 weeks).
If you don’t get paid time off, set paid weeks to the number of weeks you actually work, for example 50.
