This is the legal minimum. Your employer can include bank holidays in it, and your contract may give you more.
How holiday entitlement works
Almost all workers get 5.6 weeks of paid holiday a year. For a 5-day week that is 28 days. The legal cap is 28 days, so someone working 6 days a week still gets 28.
If you work irregular hours or only part of the year, you build up holiday at 12.07% of the hours you work in each pay period (for leave years starting on or after 1 April 2024).

Are bank holidays included?
